He served for a year as external consultant to the Accra-based West African Monetary Institute, WAMI, as he participated in the Institute’s preparatory efforts towards the establishment of the common currency for English-speaking West African member-countries of the Economic Community of West African States’, ECOWAS, planned Second Monetary Zone.
He has served as the co-editor of specialized legal professional publications that include, the Investments & Securities Law Reports, Oil and Gas Law Reports, and Civil Procedure Reports.
He is a legal practitioner with considerable and versatile law-practice and business experience that span the realms of finance and capital, taxation, banking and structured advances, telecom & ICT, maritime and aviation, oil & gas law, real estate, industrial relations, sports, and intellectual property law.
His law firm, Excellex Solicitors & Consultants, which he founded in 2008 has a Nigerian Bar Association, NBA-accredited Mandatory Continuing Legal Education platform—Excellex Legal Resource Centre—where he serves as the coordinating faculty specialist and resource person in negotiation and legal communication skills. Mr Ozoaka is the founder and editor-in-chief of Excellex Publications Limited, the publishers of specialized law reports that include the Nigeria Industrial Law Reports, and the Nigeria Real Estate Law Reports amongst others.
